D. D. H is located on Chandigarh Road in Ludhiana, right in Phase-2 of Urban Estate. This part of town has grown so much lately. We remember when there were fewer buildings and more open space. Our place at 1065 is a pretty standard setup. We have a front area for visitors and the back is where most of the daily activity happens. It’s a lot of routine stuff, checking logs and making sure everything is in its place. The building isn't brand new, so there are some cracks in the tiles and the ceiling fans wobble a bit when they are on high. We spend a lot of time staring at computer screens or talking to people who walk in from the road. Ludhiana is a busy city, and being on Chandigarh Road means there is always a flow of traffic going past our door. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we are always cleaning the glass. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who have been together for a few years. We usually eat lunch together in the small back room. It’s a quiet existence compared to some of the factories nearby. We just focus on our tasks and try to keep things moving along without too much trouble. It is a decent place to work and we know the regulars who pass by. It feels like home after all these years.
