Uppal Karyana Store

Our store is tucked away in Street No. 3 of Janta Nagar, specifically at Shop No. 8080. If you are coming from Ittan Wala Chonk, we are very easy to find. Ludhiana is a busy city, and Janta Nagar has its own local rhythm that we’ve become a part of over the time we’ve been here. Karyana stores are everywhere, but we just try to do our own thing and keep our customers happy with the usual groceries. We spend a lot of time weighing out lentils or packing sugar into smaller bags for the daily shoppers. The street can get a bit narrow when the delivery trucks come in, and there is always some noise from the nearby Chonk, but we don't mind it. It feels like home. We started out small and just kept adding things as people asked for them. You’ll find all the regular kitchen stuff here. Sometimes the kids from the street come in for a single piece of candy or a small packet of chips. We know the pin code 141003 by heart now. It’s a lot of work keeping track of everything on the shelves, and sometimes we forget where we put the extra tea leaves, but we eventually find them. It's just a regular local business run by people who live right around here and know the neighborhood well.
