Universal Hydraulic Industries

We are over in the Focal Point area. Universal Hydraulic Industries has been operating from here for a long time. Focal Point is the kind of place where you hear the sounds of machinery and metal all day long. It isn't the prettiest part of town, but it’s where the real work gets done. Our building is a simple industrial structure that has seen a lot of use. We don't have a big sign out front or anything like that. Most people who come here already know where we are or are looking for something specific. Inside, it's mostly heavy parts and tools. It can get pretty hot in the summer, but we just keep the fans going and stay on task. We aren't much for sitting around in meetings; we’d rather be on the shop floor dealing with the hydraulics. The roads around Focal Point can be a bit rough with all the heavy trucks passing through, so we are used to the dust and the bumps. We just focus on what we have to build or fix. It’s a straightforward life here. We start early and stay until the work is finished. There’s no corporate ladder to climb, just a group of us doing the same work we’ve been doing for years. We like the honesty of this kind of environment. It’s practical, it’s loud, and it’s where we belong. We just keep our heads down and get the job done every day. We don't need praise, just a job well done.
