You can find us at 853-854 in Tilak Nagar. We are right near Chowk Madhopuri here in Ludhiana. If you know this part of Punjab, you know it’s the heart of the hosiery world. We’ve been in this building for quite some time, dealing with all the knitting and garments that Ludhiana is famous for. The street gets pretty packed with cycles and rickshaws moving bags of clothes around. Our space is filled with the smell of yarn and the hum of machines most of the day. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s where we get everything done. We have the two units joined together to give us enough room for the stock. Being near the Chowk means there is always a lot of activity right outside. We see a lot of people passing through on their way to the main markets. It’s a bit dusty and the walls could probably use some new paint, but it works for us. We focus on the daily output rather than how the office looks. The winters here are busy because everyone needs warm clothes, and that’s when we are really moving. We are just a regular Ludhiana hosiery setup, trying to keep up with the orders that come in. It’s honest work and it keeps us occupied from morning until late evening. We like being in this neighborhood because everything we need is close by. Sometimes we have to stack the boxes right up to the ceiling when a big shipment of thread arrives.
