Tea Time Bakery

We are located right on Chandigarh road where there is always a lot of traffic passing by. The bakery opens up early in the morning because that is when people are heading to their jobs and want something to eat. The ovens get hot pretty quickly and the smell starts to drift out onto the main road. It is a basic setup with some counters and shelves where we put out what we have made for the day. Sometimes we run out of things faster than expected and other days it is a bit slower. That is just how the business goes. We don't have a big staff, just a few of us who know what needs to be done. We spend a lot of time in the back prep area. Chandigarh road can be quite dusty and loud with the trucks, so we try to keep the inside as clean and quiet as we can. It’s a place for a quick stop. People pull over their cars or motorbikes, grab what they need, and go. We don't do any fancy marketing or have a big sign. Most people just know us because they pass by every day. It’s hard work being on your feet all day but it feels good when the shelves are empty by evening. We just do our thing and hope the bread turns out right every time. There’s always another batch to start and another day to get through on this busy road.
