Talwar Traders

Talwar Traders is tucked away on Street No. 3 in New Shivaji Nagar. Our address is 5404, right off Hargobind Marg. It’s a busy little street with a lot going on. We trade in various goods, so our stock is always changing. One day the store is full of one thing, and the next week it’s something else. We spend a lot of time loading and unloading trucks. The street is narrow, so it’s always a bit of a struggle to get vehicles in and out. We’ve had a few scrapes on the walls because of that. Inside, it’s mostly just shelves and stacks of boxes. We don't have a fancy display. If you need something, we usually have to dig it out from the back. It’s a lot of physical work, lifting and moving stuff around. We know most of the other shopkeepers on the street. We usually have our tea together in the afternoon when things slow down for a minute. The building is old and the walls could use a fresh coat of paint, but it works for us. We aren't here to look pretty; we are here to trade. Sometimes the paperwork gets behind, but we catch up on the weekends. It’s just a normal way to earn a living. We’ve been here at this spot for a long time and don't plan on moving. There is always something new to sort through or a new delivery to organize on the shelves.
