Tajinder Watch & Radio

Tajinder Watch & Radio is right across from the Sabji Mandi Petrol Pump in the Salem Tabri area. It is a busy corner, especially with the petrol pump right there and the vegetable market just down the way. We handle both watches and radios, which is something you do not see as much of these days. A lot of older folks still bring in their transistor radios to get the dials fixed or the speakers checked out. It is a bit of a mix of old technology and newer stuff. Salem Tabri is a lively area, and we get a lot of foot traffic from the people going to the mandis. The shop is often filled with the sound of ticking clocks and sometimes the static of a radio being tuned to a station. We have our tools set up on the main bench and we spend most of our working hours right there. It has a bit of a family-run feel here, nothing too formal or stiff. If you are getting petrol or coming back from the sabji mandi, you will see our shop sitting right there. We do not have any big advertisements, just the name on the front of the building. We have been fixing things for the local people for quite a long time now. Some days are slow, and other days we have a big pile of work to get through. We just take things as they come and do the work.
