Taj Printers

You can find us down on the lower ground floor of the Park Plaza Building, specifically in Shop No-13. Being located in the basement means natural light doesn't reach us, but the space works well for housing our heavy printing machines. The air down here usually has that distinct smell of ink and fresh paper. We handle all sorts of printing jobs, ranging from small business cards to large stacks of documents. Because the machines are quite loud when they are running, we often have to shout to hear each other. This isn't a particularly pretty office to look at. Stacks of paper are everywhere and boxes of finished work wait near the door for pickup. Occasionally a machine will jam, and we have to spend an hour getting our hands greasy and stained with ink to fix the problem. That is just part of the trade we are in. We aren't a big corporate firm; we are just a small team working away in the basement. People find their way to us by coming down the stairs and following the rhythmic sound of the presses. Marketing isn't something we do much of, as word of mouth has always kept our schedule full. The counters have ink stains and the chairs are worn, but they are comfortable for a long shift. We just focus on getting the colors right.
