Suraj Components

At Suraj Components, we keep things pretty basic. Our workshop is located at C-106 in Focal Point, Phase-V. It is a busy industrial zone, so there is never really a quiet moment around here. We deal with various small components that go into bigger machines. Most days are spent looking at drawings and making sure the lathes are set up correctly. We have a small crew, and everyone knows each other’s business. If someone is out sick, the rest of us just pick up the slack without making a big deal of it. The building itself has seen better days, and the paint is peeling in a few spots, but that doesn't affect the work we do inside. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone to write fancy letters. We just answer the phone and tell people when their parts will be ready. Sometimes we run behind because a machine breaks down or the power goes out, which happens more than we’d like. But we usually stay late to catch up when that happens. There is a small tea stall just down the road from C-106 where we go when we need a break. It’s a tough environment sometimes with the grease and the metal shavings everywhere, but we’ve been doing this at Suraj Components for a long time. We just take it one day at a time and try to stay busy. That is how we operate.
