We spend our days looking at eyes and helping people figure out why things look blurry. There are plenty of frames on the shelves, some newer and some that have been there a while. We do contact lens fittings too, which takes a lot of patience, especially for folks who have never put anything in their eye before. It can be a bit finicky. The shop isn't massive, so if three or four people come in at once, it feels a bit tight. We have the usual equipment for checking vision, and it works just fine. People stop in while they are out doing their shopping in Model Town. Sometimes they just need a screw tightened on their glasses or a nose pad replaced. We don't make a big fuss about things. If your vision isn't what it used to be, we sit you down and go through the charts. It is quiet work for the most part. The lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing with the lenses. We just stay focused on the task at hand and try to make sure everyone leaves seeing a bit better than when they walked in.
