Sundaram Auto Components Ltd.

We've been out here on Chourasla Road for quite a while now. If you head towards Village-Bhatian, you’ll find us easily enough. It’s a bit of a dusty stretch but we like it here. Most of the guys have been with Sundaram Auto Components Ltd. since the early days. We spend a lot of time on the floor making sure things are actually moving. It isn't a fancy place with shiny glass walls or anything like that. We just have our machines and our benches. Usually, the tea guy comes by around ten and that’s when we take a short break. It's mostly about getting the work done and making sure nobody gets in each other's way. The shed can get pretty hot during the summer months, but we’ve got big fans going all day to keep the air moving. People around the village know us as the place where there's always some noise coming from the metal work. We don't really do big meetings or long talks. We just look at what needs finishing and we do it. Sometimes the trucks arrive late because of the traffic on the main road, so we end up staying a bit later than we planned to. It’s just how things go around here. We know the neighbors and they know us. It’s a regular life, working with our hands and keeping the parts moving out the gate every day. That is just how we run things.
