We are up on the first floor of Mall Plaza near Fountain Chowk. It’s a branch office, so it gets pretty crowded with boxes. Books are everywhere, honestly. You can’t walk two feet without tripping over a stack of something. Mall Road is always noisy, so we hear the traffic all day. We spend most of our time unpacking shipments and sorting through titles. It’s dusty work sometimes. We've been here at Office-11 for some time now. People come in looking for specific things and we have to go digging through the piles. It isn't a retail shop with nice displays. It’s more of a warehouse vibe. We drink a lot of tea while we work. Sometimes the elevator in the mall is out of order, which is a pain when you have heavy boxes to move up and down. But we manage. It’s just me and a couple of other guys usually. We know where everything is, even if it looks messy to anyone else. It's a lot of manual labor, moving things from one side of the room to the other. We get deliveries at odd hours. That's just part of the book business. It’s a solid place to work if you don't mind the smell of old paper and ink. We're right there by the fountain, so it's a good landmark for people trying to find us. We've been doing this for a long time and we like it.
