Subhash Mechanical Works

Industrial Area A is where we spend most of our days. It’s right behind Venus Industrial Corporation, so if you know that spot, we aren’t hard to find. Subhash Mechanical Works started out quite some time ago. It is mostly just grease and the sound of machines running here. We handle a lot of different jobs depending on what walks through the door. Sometimes it is small parts, other times it is bigger repairs that take up the whole floor. The space at 888/2 isn't fancy. It’s a workshop, plain and simple. We have our tools and our lathes and we just get on with it. People come to us when something breaks or they need a specific piece of metal worked on. It can get pretty busy during the week. There is always someone dropping off a drawing or picking up a finished component. We keep the back side open for deliveries. It’s been this way for a long time now. My father started some of this and we just kept it going. We don’t have a big office or anything like that. If you want to talk, you usually have to find us near the machines. We know the neighbors well and everyone around here just does their own thing. It is dusty and noisy, but that is how it goes in this part of town. We just focus on the task in front of us until it's done.
