Sri Ram Dev Industries

Our place, Sri Ram Dev Industries, is located in Ekjot Nagar, specifically at B-XXXII E-10/6869 / 20 / 21. It’s a mouthful to say, and even harder to write down on a form. We are off Fambran Road, near where it meets Bahadur K Road. It’s a proper industrial area, so don’t expect any gardens or quiet spots around here. There’s always a truck backing up or someone loading pallets onto a flatbed nearby. The air usually smells like metal and machine oil, which is fine once you get used to it. We spend most of our hours on the floor, making sure the machines are running and the parts are being cut the way they should be. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, especially when the sun hits the roof, so we drink a lot of water and take breaks when we can. The neighbors are all doing similar work, so there’s a bit of a community feel among the workers on this stretch of Fambran Road. We don't really have a big office; it's mostly just the workshop and a small desk for the papers. People usually find us by looking for the big gate near the corner. It's dusty and noisy, and by the end of the shift, we’re all pretty tired, but the work is steady. We’ve been in this part of the city for a long time and we know how the system works here. We just try to keep things moving and get the shipments out.
