Our place, Speedway Bearing Manufacturer, is located at 8/1, Baba Mukund Singh Nagar, right near the corner of G.T. Road and Daba Road. It’s an easy spot to find if you know the area. We spend our days making bearings, which is precise work but also quite greasy. The shop isn't a quiet place. There's always the hum of the lathes and the clinking of metal parts. We aren't a massive factory with thousands of employees. We're just a group of people who understand how bearings should be made. Our desk is usually covered in drawings and calipers. We don't bother with a lot of the corporate stuff you see nowadays. No fancy mission statements on the walls here. We just try to make sure each batch is done right before it heads out the door. The traffic on G.T. Road is always heavy, so we plan our shipments around that. It's a practical business. Sometimes the lighting isn't the best, and the floor stays stained with oil, but that's just the reality of this kind of manufacturing. We’ve been at this address for a good while, and we’ve gotten used to the daily grind. It’s just about getting the parts out and keeping the machines maintained. We're regular people doing a regular job. We often eat our lunch right there at the workbench because there isn't much space for a canteen. The air smells like coolants and metal. It’s not for everyone, but it’s our daily life and we’re okay with it.
