Speedking Battery

If you go down to Dugri Street No 10 in Roop Nagar, you will find our battery shop. It is a straightforward place where we handle all kinds of batteries for cars and home power backups. The air usually smells a bit like acid and lead, which I guess is just part of the job. We have stacks of heavy batteries along the walls and cables lying around. People usually come in when they are having a bad day because their car won't start or their lights went out at home. We spend a lot of time testing cells and charging up units that still have some life left in them. It is heavy work, lifting those blocks all day. My clothes usually end up with a few small holes in them from the battery liquid. The street outside in Roop Nagar is mostly quiet compared to the main roads, but we stay busy enough. We have some old tools on the workbench that have been here since we opened. There is no big showroom or anything, just a counter and a lot of stock. We just tell people what is wrong with their battery and whether it can be fixed or if they need a new one. It is honest work and it keeps us busy from morning till the sun goes down. Most people in the street know us by now. We just do our thing here in Dugri.
