Speedin Motors

You can find us at Bharat Nagar Road 477/42-A, right in the Bharat Nagar area. Speedin Motors is basically just a big garage where we look at engines all day. The floor is concrete and cold, and there are usually a couple of cars parked inside with their hoods up. We spend a lot of time under those cars, looking at leaks and checking brakes. The walls are covered in old calendars and tools hanging on pegs. It gets pretty loud when someone starts up a diesel engine inside the shop. We do not have any fancy waiting room for people; they usually just stand around outside or go get a tea nearby while we work. The Bharat Nagar Road is always busy, so we get a lot of walk-ins who have had a breakdown or a flat tire. It is a lot of physical work, lifting heavy tires and tightening bolts until your arms ache. I have been doing this for a long time, so I can usually tell what is wrong with a car just by the sound it makes coming down the street. We do not promise any miracles, we just try to get the machines running again so people can get where they are going. By the end of the day, the shop is a mess of tools and rags, and we just clean it up to do it all over again tomorrow. It is just greasy, honest work that keeps us moving.
