Sodhi Gift Place

We are Sodhi Gift Place, and you can find us near Vishal School in the Vishal Nagar area, just off Pakhowal Road. It’s a good spot because of the school nearby. We get a lot of parents and kids coming in after school hours. Usually, they are looking for something small like a toy or some colorful stationery. We also keep bigger things for older people, like tea sets or wall hangings. The shop isn't very large, so we have to use every bit of wall space we have. Sometimes it feels like the walls are closing in with all the stock, but that’s just how gift shops are. We’ve been part of the Vishal Nagar community for quite some time now. We don't do anything fancy with our windows, just put out what’s new. Pakhowal Road is always busy, but our little corner near the school stays a bit more relaxed. We don't have a computer for billing or anything, we just write it all down in a book. It’s the way we’ve always done it. We know the names of the kids who grow up and then come back years later. It’s nice to be part of the neighborhood like that. Just a simple shop doing its thing day after day. We keep a chair out front if anyone needs a rest.
