Our office is at 269/L in Model Town. It’s a residential area mostly, so it’s a bit quieter than being in the main market. We converted part of the space to handle our consulting work. There are files everywhere because we deal with a lot of paperwork and technical drawings. Being in Model Town is convenient for us. We’ve lived and worked around here for years. We aren't a huge firm with dozens of employees. It is just a small group of us who know engineering. We spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at site plans. The coffee machine is probably the most used thing in the office besides the computers. We don't really do flashy presentations. We just sit down with clients and go over what needs to be done. Sometimes the neighbors walk by and wave. It has that kind of feel. We try to stay organized, but when we have three or four projects going at once, the desks get a bit messy. That is just how it goes. We don't have a big lobby or a receptionist. If the door is open, you can just come in. We’ve built our reputation slowly over the years. We just focus on giving sensible advice and making sure the engineering side of things is handled correctly.
