Being located at 60 Dashmesh Market in Sherpur Kalan means we are right in the thick of things in Ludhiana. Singh Yarn Manufacturers Private Limited is our name, but most people around here just know us as the place on the corner of the market block. It’s 141010 here, and the energy never really stops. Every morning starts with the sound of shutters going up all down the street. We have heaps of yarn coming in and going out, so there is a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around. The office part is just a small corner with a couple of chairs and a lot of ledgers piled up. It gets quite dusty with all the fibers flying around, but that is just Ludhiana for you. We don't have any fancy brochures or a big marketing team telling us what to do. It’s just us and the machines. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait a bit, which is when we catch up on local gossip or just sit outside for a minute to breathe. The market is crowded, especially when the big trucks are trying to squeeze through the lanes. It can be frustrating, but we’ve been here long enough to know the shortcuts. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there, just trying to get the orders right and keep the bills paid.
