Singh Sukhjeet Architect is over here in Vikas Nagar, specifically at H.No.107/B-36. If you know Pakhowal Road, you know it can get pretty busy around here during the day. Our office is a modest space where we spend most of our time hunched over drawing boards or looking at site plans on the computer. It’s not a big corporate setup with a fancy lobby or anything like that. Usually, there’s a lot of paper everywhere and several half-empty cups of tea sitting around. We’ve been in this part of town for a bit, so we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a lot. People stop by to talk about their house plans or just to ask questions about building stuff. We don’t really do big presentations; we just sit down and try to figure out how to make a space work. Most of the day is spent dealing with measurements and checking on how things are going on the ground. Sometimes the internet is slow or the printer acts up, but we get the work done eventually. It’s a quiet routine for the most part, except for the noise from the street. We try to keep things simple and practical here. If you come by, you’ll probably find Sukhjeet or one of the staff members looking through a pile of blueprints. It is just a regular local office doing regular work for people in the area who need some help with their building projects. There is always something to do and we just take it one day at a time.
