Simran Gift And General Store

Over at Shop Number 3 near Itta Wala Chowk, you’ll find Simran Gift And General Store. We are located right on Veerappa Street, at the 1st A Cross in New Janta Nagar. It’s a lively spot to have a shop, right near the junction where everyone meets up. We sell a variety of things, ranging from basic groceries and soaps to colorful gift items for weddings and birthdays. The shop is small, so we have to be clever about where we put things. Sometimes you’ll see buckets and plastic bins stacked near the entrance. It isn't the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is. We usually have the radio playing in the background while we wait for customers. Most of our visitors are people from the nearby houses who just need a quick item for their kitchen or a last-minute present. We talk to our neighbors a lot, catching up on the local news while we weigh out goods or pack items. The street can get a bit dusty with all the bikes going past Itta Wala Chowk, but we try to keep the shop as clean as we can. It’s a family-run operation, and we’ve been part of the New Janta Nagar community for a long time. There's no pressure here, just a simple place to buy your daily stuff and maybe a little something extra.
