Our clinic is just a few rooms where we handle our daily business. We have some benches for people to sit on while they wait their turn. The noise from the road and the market is something we have just grown used to over time. It’s not a quiet place, but it’s a place where work gets done every day. We keep our supplies on simple metal shelves and we use a basic ledger to keep track of things by hand. We don't spend money on decorations or anything that isn't necessary for the job. It’s more about being there for the people who work in the market and the residents nearby. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to use lanterns or just the natural light from the windows, but we manage fine. The floors are concrete and easy to sweep at the end of the day. We’ve been here at this Ludhiana HO location for quite a while, seeing the market change over the years while we stayed pretty much the same. It’s a no-nonsense kind of place.
