If you find yourself on Sua Road, you will see our place right behind the Ravi Dharam Kanta. Shri Balaji Industrial Corporation is right there in Dhandari Kalan. It is a dusty part of the world, mostly because of all the heavy trucks moving in and out of the industrial area. The air smells like metal and oil most of the time. We have got a big shed where most of the work happens. It is loud, so you have to raise your voice to be heard over the machines. We have been here at number 34 for quite a bit now. The floors are concrete and usually have some grease stains on them. We do not have a HR department or a fancy lobby. If someone wants to talk, they just walk into the small office cabin we built in the corner. We drink a lot of chai throughout the day. The water cooler is the most popular spot when the sun is out. Our workers come from nearby areas, some on cycles and some walking. It is honest work, and it is usually pretty tiring by the time five o'clock rolls around. We do not make big speeches about what we do. We just make sure the orders are ready and the machines are running. Sometimes things break down and we spend the whole afternoon fixing them. That is just part of the job. It is a simple setup we have got here in Dhandari Kalan, nothing more, nothing less than that.
