We are situated on Sua Road in the Dhandhari Kalan Industrial Area-C, right near the Nanaksar Dharam Kanda in Ludhiana. Our day-to-day involves making auto parts for different types of vehicles. It is a noisy place with the sound of presses and machines running all day long, but that is just the sound of work getting done. I took over this place from my family and we have kept it going ever since. We are not a huge factory with thousands of employees, just a local outfit with a small group of steady workers. Some of the guys have been here for twenty years and they know the machines better than I do. We do not have any fancy brochures or a marketing team telling us what to do. We just focus on getting the parts out the door on time. The road outside can get quite messy with all the industrial traffic, but we are used to it by now. We eat our meals together and talk about whatever is going on in the neighborhood. It is a practical business and we do not try to make it sound like anything else. We just make parts and try to keep everything running smooth enough to stay in business. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit outside until it comes back, which is just how things go.
