We’ve been here at 95-B, Industrial Area A" Extn." for a good while now. Shiv Forgings & Excellent Forge Pvt. Ltd. is basically what you see when you walk in—lots of metal, the smell of grease, and machines running most of the day. It gets loud in here, but that is just how the work goes. We handle a lot of forging work and people in the area know us by now. It isn't a fancy office with carpets or anything like that. We spend most of our time on the shop floor making sure things are getting done right. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big order comes in and we have to stay late to finish up. The guys here have been doing this for years, so they know their way around the hammers and presses. We don't really do much advertising because most people just find us through word of mouth or by driving past the industrial area. It’s a messy job, but it’s what we do every day. Sometimes the machines act up or the heat gets a bit much in the summer, but we just keep going. We've seen the neighborhood change a bit over the years, but our gate stays the same. If you come by, you’ll probably see me or one of the other guys covered in a bit of dust. That's just part of the life here. We just focus on the metal and getting it shaped the way it needs to be.
