Mebesto Products

You’ll find Mebesto Products over at No. 4636 on Street No. 2, right by Kwality Chowk in Shimla Puri. It’s one of those busy corners where there’s always something happening. The street isn't very wide, so when a big truck comes through to drop something off, the whole neighborhood knows about it. We’ve been operating out of this spot for quite some time. The building itself is sturdy but shows its age, especially around the doorframes. We produce things here, so there’s always a bit of a hum from the machinery and the smell of whatever we’re working on that day. It’s a practical environment. We don't have fancy carpets or expensive art on the walls. We have shelves full of parts and a few sturdy tables where the actual work happens. The guys who work here are local, and we often spend our breaks talking about what’s going on in the neighborhood. It’s a community feel. When the winter hits, it gets quite cold in the workshop, so we drink a lot of chai to keep warm. In the summer, we keep the fans going at full speed, but it’s still a sweatshop in there. We don't mind it much. It’s just how it’s always been at Mebesto Products. We do what we do and try to get it right the first time. The neighbors are good people and we all look out for each other.
