At E-472-473 in Phase-VI of Focal Point, we have our setup for making auto parts. Ludhiana’s Focal Point is a massive place, and we are just one of the many factories making things for the vehicle industry. Our space is divided into different sections for the various stages of production, and it can get quite loud when everything is going at full speed. We’ve got a mix of older machines and some newer ones that we’ve added over the years. The floors are dark from the oil and the heavy traffic of carts moving back and forth. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of brochures to hand out. If you want to know what we do, you just have to look at the bins of parts waiting to be shipped out. The guys working the lines are experienced and they don’t need much supervision to get things right. We have tea breaks twice a day, and that’s when the factory floor finally goes quiet for a few minutes. It’s a tough environment, but it’s honest work. We deal with suppliers and transport agents all day long, trying to keep the schedule from slipping. There’s always something that needs fixing or a machine that needs tuning, so there is never a dull moment at Sheel Auto Industries (P) Ltd. We just keep our heads down and make sure the quality stays where it needs to be.
