Our factory is located at B-48-D-251 in Phase 7 of the Focal Point industrial area. It is a bit of a maze back here, and the roads are not always in the best shape, especially after it rains. You can usually hear the sound of the machines from a distance before you even see the gate. Inside, it is a lot of metal, heat, and the constant hum of the equipment we use for the alloys. We all wear heavy boots and gear because it is not the kind of place where you want to be careless. The paperwork gets done in a small office that stays a bit cooler than the shop floor, though the dust still finds its way in somehow. We deal with a lot of raw materials and heavy casting work, so there is always a layer of grime on our hands by the end of the shift. We are not interested in being flashy; we just want the parts to be right and the shipments to go out on time. Sometimes a machine breaks down and we have to spend half the night fixing it ourselves, but that is just part of the job in Focal Point. It is a long name for a company, Sharu Hi-Tech Alloys, but to us, it is just the place where we spend our ten-hour days. We have a small canteen where we eat together, usually complaining about the heat or talking about the weekend. It is simple and it works for us.
