About Sharma Ashok Kumar Architect – Architect, Interior & Structural Design in Ludhiana
My office is at 2244 Krishna Nagar in the Civil Lines area. I’ve been an architect for quite some time now, maybe longer than I care to admit. This building has seen a lot of blueprints and rolls of paper come and go over the years. It’s a steady kind of job. I spend my mornings mostly on the phone or checking over some plans I started working on the day before. Civil Lines is a nice part of town to work in. It’s got some character and old trees. The office itself is full of old folders and rolls of paper that I really should organize one day when I have time. But as long as I can find what I need on the desk it's fine. People around here usually just call me Sharma. I don’t go for any of that fancy corporate talk or big marketing speeches. I just tell people what will work for their building and what won't. Sometimes they listen to me and sometimes they don't. It’s all part of the process. I have an old drafting table that’s been with me since I started my career. It’s got a few scratches and coffee stains but it still does the job. My goal is just to finish the day's work and make sure the drawings are accurate for the builders. It’s a quiet life here in Krishna Nagar and that suits me just fine.
