Shailender Thapar & Associates

We are Shailender Thapar & Associates, located over at B- I - 642 in Kundan Puri. It is right in the Civil Lines area of Ludhiana. To be honest, we have been in this same spot for a lot of years now. Shailender and the rest of the staff just spend our days going through books and making sure the numbers are where they should be. It is not a very big office. We have some old desks and a lot of metal cabinets that are full of folders and papers from over the years. People from around the neighborhood usually just walk in when they have a question about their taxes or some other paperwork. We do not have any big signs or fancy decorations in here. It is just a place to get work done. Sometimes the traffic outside in Civil Lines gets pretty loud, especially in the afternoons. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the piles on our desks. It is just a normal local business. We are not some big corporate firm from a movie. We are just regular people who know a bit about accounting and try to help out the locals here in Ludhiana. If you come by, you might find us busy with a calculator or talking on the phone with the tax office. That is just how our days go. It is not glamorous but it keeps us and our families going year after year.
