We operate out of 60-B in the Industrial Estate. It’s a pretty standard block, nothing too special to look at from the outside. Inside, it’s mostly just the machines and the stacks of raw materials we use for production. The street outside can get pretty clogged with lorries during the shipping hours. We started small and just stayed in this same spot as things grew a bit over the years. Most of our days are spent on the factory floor making sure the machines are running like they should be. If something breaks, we fix it ourselves usually with whatever tools we have handy. It’s a lot of manual work and keeping a close eye on the clock. The workers have their lunch out back where there’s a bit of shade from the sun. We don't have a receptionist or anything like that. If the phone rings, whoever is closest to the small office picks it up. We keep the paperwork in a few filing cabinets that have seen better days. It gets loud when everything is switched on at once, so we do most of our talking during the lunch breaks. We get stuff ready for shipping and then wait for the pickups to arrive. It’s a cycle that repeats every single day. The coffee machine in the corner is probably the most important thing we own for those long mornings. We just try to get the orders out without too much fuss.
