Satgur Die Maker. Let's start with the location in Dashmesh Nagar. We’ve been here a while. We make dies for all sorts of things. The shop is at number 48 on street 2. It's not a big fancy place, but it works for us. Usually, you’ll find us surrounded by metal and bits of shavings. Sometimes the link road gets quite busy with trucks going to Shira market, so you have to time it right if you're coming by. We don't spend a lot of time on fancy talk. Most of the day is just spent measuring things out and making sure the cuts are right. People come in with sketches or old parts they need copied. It's messy work, honestly. My hands are usually covered in oil by ten in the morning. We just keep the machines running and try to get the jobs finished on time. It's how it goes in a place like this. The neighbors know us, and we know them. If you walk past Shira Market and turn onto the link road, you’ll see our sign eventually. It’s just a regular workshop where we do what we know how to do. Nothing more to it than that. We don't have a big office or anything like that. Just the floor where the work happens and a desk with too many papers on it. It works for the kind of stuff we handle every day. We don't try to make it sound like more than it is. It's just a shop.
