Sarjeewan Knitwear

At Sarjeewan Knitwear, things stay pretty busy throughout the week. We are located at 138 in Industrial Area-A, which is basically the heart of the manufacturing zone around here. If you’ve ever been to this part of town, you know it’s mostly trucks and the constant sound of machinery humming in the background all day long. We work with knitwear, so there is always yarn or finished pieces sitting around in various stages of being sorted or packed. It’s not the quietest place to spend a day, but it’s where the work happens. The building at 138 has seen a lot of seasons and could probably use a bit of a wash, but it's sturdy. We spend most of our time making sure the orders are moving along and that nobody is falling behind. Some days the machines are running smooth, and other days we’re scratching our heads trying to fix a minor glitch with a needle or a belt. It’s just the nature of the job. We don’t have a fancy reception area or a person in a suit greeting you. When you walk in, you’re basically in the middle of everything. We eat our lunch together most days at a big wooden table, usually just something brought from home in a tiffin. The industrial area can get pretty dusty, especially when the wind picks up in the afternoon. We’ve been here long enough that the other owners nearby all know our faces. We just keep our heads down and try to get the knitting done right.
