Sanjay Anand & Co

Our office is right near the HDFC Bank in the Feroze Gandhi Market. Sanjay Anand & Co has been in this Stock Exchange Building for a good bit of time now. It is a busy spot in Ludhiana. Lots of papers everywhere, usually. We spend most of our mornings drinking tea and going through files. It’s not the quietest place because the market is always moving and shouting outside. People drop by with questions or folders. We have got these old wooden desks that have seen better days but they work fine for us. We handle the usual stuff businesses around here need help with. Being at 339-340 means we see a lot of the same faces every single day. It is a routine. You get in, check the mail, and start working. Sometimes the air conditioner makes a weird rattling noise but we just ignore it. We aren't a big fancy firm with a receptionist in a suit. It is just us doing the work. The elevators in this building can be quite slow, so we often take the stairs instead. Ludhiana life is fast, and we try to keep up without making things too difficult for anyone. It is a practical way to run a business. We have been part of this market for years. We know the neighbors and the tea guy. It feels like home even when the work piles up. We just keep our heads down and get on with it. (256 words)
