SANGMESHWAR NIDHI LIMITED

SANGMESHWAR NIDHI LIMITED is based at Shop No 13 near the Ravi Dass Mandir on Peer Khanna Road in Khanna. Being near the mandir means we hear the bells and the general bustle of the devotees and the market nearby. It is a typical small-town shop converted into an office. We are right in the heart of Ludhiana district, so it stays busy. The shop isn't very big, so we have to be careful with how we use the space. We have our desks set up near the front so we can see who is coming in. There is always a bit of noise from the Peer Khanna Road, but we’ve gotten used to it by now. The walls have some charts and the usual paperwork stuck to them. We spend the day handling the accounts and talking to the local shopkeepers who are our neighbors. It’s a very down-to-earth environment. We don't wear suits or anything like that; we just dress like everyone else in Khanna. Sometimes it gets a little hot in the afternoon because the sun hits the front of the shop. We just keep the water cooler filled and keep working. It is an honest little office where we do the daily tasks required for the Nidhi. Most people who come in are people we see every day in the market.
