Trendy Import Export House

Down here in Samrala, we run the Trendy Import Export House. It is a small town, so things move at a different pace than the big cities. We don't have a massive warehouse, just a decent-sized place where we can keep things organized. Most of our day is spent making sure the trucks know where they are going and that the documents are all signed. It is a lot of back-and-forth communication. The locals know us, and we often have people stopping by just to say hello or ask how the business is going. We don't use a lot of high-tech stuff. A simple computer and a landline do most of the heavy lifting for us. Sometimes the rain makes the roads a bit messy, and that slows everything down, but we are used to it by now. We handle various goods depending on the season. It is just me and a couple of assistants. We do our own packing most of the time because we want to make sure it is done right before it leaves Samrala. It isn't a glamorous job, and we usually end the day with some dust on our clothes. We just focus on the task at hand and try to stay on top of the schedule. There is a sense of satisfaction when a big shipment finally pulls out of the yard and we can close up the office for the evening.
