Saggu Electricals is a local shop in the Shimlapuri area. You can find us at Shop No-4413 on Street No-11 in Basant Nagar. We are located near Jain Da Theka, which most people around here know very well. Our shop is where we sell all types of electrical goods like wires, switches, bulbs, and ceiling fans. It’s a small place and it is often quite crowded with boxes stacked up to the ceiling. We don't have a big showroom with bright lights; it’s just a regular neighborhood store that’s been here a while. People from around Basant Nagar come to us when they have a fuse blown or if they are doing some wiring in their new house. We try to keep a good stock of everything, but sometimes we run out of things and have to wait for the next delivery to arrive from our suppliers. It is mostly just a couple of us working here every day of the week. We know many of our customers by name since they’ve been coming to us for years. The street can be a bit narrow and busy, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping for their groceries. It gets a little hot in the shop during the summer months, but we just keep the fan going and keep working through it. We aren't a big chain store, just a simple business trying to provide what the local people need for their homes. It’s a lot of manual work, moving heavy boxes and checking stuff, but it keeps us busy. We just do our job.
