We are S S Architectural Systems, and we are located in Ludhiana at number 9. It’s a simple name for a simple operation. We deal with the more technical side of building things, focusing on the systems that make a structure actually work. A lot of people think architecture is just about how a building looks from the outside, but we spend our time thinking about the parts that hold it together or how the glass fits into the frames. Our office in Ludhiana is where we store our tools and our drafting tables. We have been here for a long time and have seen the city change quite a bit around us. Most of the guys here have worked in construction before, so we understand how things actually get built on a muddy site, not just how they look on a computer screen. We don't have a big marketing department or anyone to answer the phones with a scripted greeting. Usually, if you call, you'll hear the sound of someone working in the background. We prefer it that way. It’s a busy place, and we usually have several projects going at once, which keeps us on our toes. We just focus on getting the details right so that the builders don't have a hard time later on. It isn't glamorous, but it is important work that we take seriously every day we come in to work.
