You’ll find us at 861/3 on Jawadi Road, over in Punjab Mata Nagar. It’s more of a workshop feel here at Rupindera Industries than a fancy office. We have machines running most of the day, so it gets pretty noisy. There’s usually some grease on the floor and tools scattered around the benches. We don’t mind it much, that’s just how an industrial place looks when people are actually working. We’ve been in this spot for a good while, and the neighbors are mostly other small workshops and houses. We do a lot of the heavy lifting ourselves. If a machine breaks down, we usually try to fix it before calling anyone else. It saves time and we like knowing how everything works. We don't have a receptionist or a big lobby. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back with our sleeves rolled up. It’s honest work and it’s what we’ve always done. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s cooling down in the evening just to catch a break. We don’t put out fancy advertisements or try to sound like a big corporation. We’re just local people making parts and getting orders out on time. The bills get paid and we keep the doors open for the next day. That’s really all there is to it for us.
