Rimpy Singla Architect

I’m working out of Gurusar Sudhar, doing the usual architecture stuff. It’s a quiet enough place which helps when I need to concentrate on a complicated floor plan. I’ve been set up here for some time now, and most of the locals know me by name. I don't really do the whole big marketing thing. Most of my projects come from people just talking to each other. I spend my days sketching out ideas or checking on how a construction is going down the road. It’s not always glamorous. There’s a lot of paperwork and making sure the dimensions are exactly right so the builders don’t get confused. Sometimes I’m at my desk for hours, and other times I’m out in the sun at a site. Gurusar Sudhar is where I live and work, so I care about what gets built around here. I don’t use a lot of technical jargon when I’m talking to clients. We just talk about where the doors should be or how big the windows can get. It’s about making a space that works for the people living in it. I keep my office simple—just the essentials like my computer, some pens, and a lot of rolled-up drawings. It’s a one-person operation mostly, though I get help when a big project comes along. Just trying to do decent work one building at a time. It gets tiring, but seeing a house actually finished is a good feeling.
