Rcj Auto Forge Pvt Ltd is tucked away in Phase 7 of Focal Point, specifically at E-756-757. It’s a busy street with trucks constantly backing in and out of the different units. Our place is pretty much dedicated to auto forging. You walk in and you immediately smell the grease and the hot metal. It’s been like that since we opened. We have these big hammers that shake the floor a bit when they’re going full tilt. It’s not the kind of place where you’d want to wear a nice suit. We’re usually in our work clothes, covered in a bit of soot by midday. The rhythm here is pretty constant. We start with the raw material and work it until it’s the right shape for whatever car part we’re making that week. There isn't much small talk when the machines are running because you can't hear anything anyway. We use hand signals a lot. Between shifts, we sit outside near the entrance to catch a breeze. The address is easy to find if you know the landmarks, but all these buildings look a bit the same after a while. We’ve got a couple of old desks in the corner for the billing and the phone calls. Mostly, we’re just focused on the metal and making sure the dimensions aren't off. It’s a lot of physical labor, but the guys are used to the pace.
