Rani Auto Industries

Rani Auto Industries is based on A. T. I. Road, though we also have some connections over toward J P Road in Andheri West. It is a bit of a trek between the areas but we manage. The workshop is where we spend the bulk of our time. It is full of metal parts, tools, and the smell of cutting oil. We do a lot of work with auto components, mostly manufacturing and some assembly. The benches are heavy wood and have been beaten up over years of use. I usually start the day by checking what needs to be finished before the afternoon pickup. It is a lot of hands-on labor, and our clothes usually end up pretty greasy by noon. We have a couple of old grinders and drills that have been with us since the beginning. The noise is constant, but you get used to it after a while. Sometimes the rain in Andheri gets so heavy we have to move everything back from the doorway so it doesn't get wet. We aren't a big company with a HR department or anything. It is just a group of us who know how to work with metal and engines. We keep the doors open for air and just focus on the task in front of us. If someone needs a part made or fixed, they come by the shop and we talk it over.
