Rangi Clinic

Being in Village Dehlon, we see a lot of the same faces every day. This part of Ludhiana Central is always moving, but our little clinic stays pretty steady. It’s not a giant hospital, just a place where people come when they’re feeling a bit under the weather or need something checked out. We’ve been here long enough that we know most families by name. The waiting room is small, and sometimes it gets a bit crowded when it's flu season, but folks don't seem to mind waiting a bit on the plastic chairs. We try to keep things simple. No big complicated forms if we can help it. Just come in, tell us what’s wrong, and we see what can be done. It’s a lot of routine stuff, coughs, scrapes, or just checking blood pressure for the older folks. The street outside can get noisy with the traffic from Ludhiana, but inside it’s usually just the sound of the ceiling fan whirring. We’ve got an old wooden desk that has been here since the start. It’s not a polished medical office like the ones you see in the big city center. It’s just Rangi Clinic. People come here because it’s close and they know us. We try to keep the hours consistent so people know when to drop by after their work in the fields or shops. It’s a practical setup for the village. We just do our bit to keep the local folks going.
