Our place is located out in Village Seera, right on Satowal Road. It’s not hard to find because we are pretty close to the Maharban Police Station. If you pass the station, you’ve basically found us. Being in a village area means it’s a bit quieter than the city, though the road gets busy with tractors and trucks carrying goods. We work on knitting and crafts here. The building is a simple one, mostly filled with the sound of machines running. We’ve got a good group of people from the local area who come in every day. Some walk here, others come on cycles. The weather can get really hot in the summer, so we try to keep the fans going as much as possible. In the winter, it’s actually quite nice out here. We don’t have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just focus on the orders we have. The floor is usually covered in bits of yarn and fabric, which is just how it goes in this line of work. Sometimes the internet is a bit slow since we are a bit further out, but we make it work. It’s an honest way to spend the day. We’ve been part of this community for a while, and most neighbors know us by name. It’s just a regular workplace where things get made and shipped out to wherever they need to go. We keep a spare bucket near the door for when the roof leaks a tiny bit during heavy rain.
