Punjab Oil Auto Parts is based on Beri Road in the Civil Line area. It’s a pretty well-known spot if you live around here. We deal with oils and different parts for vehicles. The shop is usually covered in a thin layer of dust because of all the traffic on Beri Road. It’s just how it is. We have shelves stacked high with cans and containers. Sometimes it’s hard to find what you’re looking for right away, but we know where everything is. Civil Line is a decent area, but the road gets really congested during the peak hours. We’ve been here long enough that the local mechanics just drop by whenever they need something. It’s not a high-end store with glass doors. It’s more of a functional space. We spend a lot of time wiping down counters and moving heavy drums around. The air smells like engine oil mostly. We don’t have a big marketing plan or anything like that. People just know us from word of mouth. We open early and stay until the sun goes down. Sometimes we sit outside on plastic chairs when it’s slow. It’s a simple life running a parts shop. We just provide what people need for their cars and bikes. Nothing fancy about it. We just keep the inventory ready and hope for a good day of work so we can pay the bills.
