Our place is situated at Plot No. 15477/1 on Street No. 13 in Prabhat Nagar. It is a bit of a maze back here if you aren't familiar with the street numbers, but once you find Street 13, we are easy to spot. The area is mostly residential houses mixed in with small businesses like ours. You’ll often see kids playing in the street or neighbors chatting across their gates while we are loading up the van. It feels very much like a community spot. We have a small sign out front but nothing too flashy. The building itself is older, with some character in the walls and a heavy metal door that’s always a bit tricky to lock at night. Inside, it’s mostly shelves and workspace. We don’t spend much time worrying about the decor because we are usually too busy sorting out the stock. Sometimes the mail carrier gets confused by the plot numbers since they are so long, but we usually wave him down. The morning sunlight hits the front of the shop just right around eight o'clock. We try to keep the sidewalk clear, but sometimes boxes pile up for a few hours. It is just the reality of running a trading business in a busy neighborhood like Prabhat Nagar. We are here most days from morning until early evening, just plugging away at the daily list of things to do.
