Madaan Aluminium Decoration

Madaan Aluminium Decoration is situated right on the Link Road, just across from the Atam Park Police Chowki. If you know where Preet Cinema is, we are very close to that too. It’s a busy spot with people always passing by on their way to the movies or the market. Inside the shop, it’s mostly the sound of saws cutting through metal and the clatter of scraps hitting the floor. We do a lot of different things with aluminium, mostly for local houses and some shops around the neighborhood. It is a bit cramped in here because we have so many lengths of metal stored against the walls. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people just walk in because they saw the sign while waiting at the traffic light. The police from the chowki sometimes stop by for a chat or a glass of water. It’s a friendly enough atmosphere, even with all the noise from the work. We usually have a radio playing in the background, though you can barely hear it over the grinding. My hands are usually stained gray by the end of the day from handling the materials. We just take one job at a time and try to get it done right so the person comes back next time they need something. It’s a simple way to make a living in the city.
