Up here in Ludhiana, things move pretty fast, especially with all the trucks and machinery around. Poddar Tyres Ltd has been part of this landscape for quite some time now. If you walk into our place in Punjab, the first thing you notice is definitely the smell of rubber. It is everywhere. We deal with tyres all day long, stacking them, moving them, and making sure they get where they need to go. It is heavy work and our hands are usually a bit dirty by the end of the shift. The warehouse is big and can get quite cold in the winter, but that is just how Ludhiana is. We do not have a fancy showroom with bright lights. It is more of a working space where the focus is on the actual product. You see a lot of different people coming through, from truck drivers needing a quick replacement to local shop owners looking for stock. We keep a ledger of everything, though sometimes the paperwork gets a bit messy on the desk. Punjab is a busy hub for transport, so there is never really a quiet day for us. We just keep our heads down and get the job done. There are stacks of tyres reaching almost to the ceiling in some spots. It is a noisy, busy environment, but we are used to it by now. It is just a honest day of work for everyone here at the warehouse.
