Parshotam Flower Decoration

You will find us right opposite the Durga Mata Mandir on Ferozepur Road. Being near the temple means we see a lot of people every single day. The smell of flowers is always around us, which is nice I guess. We start very early in the morning when the fresh stock comes in. There are piles of roses and marigolds everywhere. We spend hours making garlands and different arrangements. Firozpur Road is always busy with cars and rickshaws zooming past. Parshotam Flower Decoration is a simple place. We don't have fancy air conditioning or big signs. It is mostly just buckets of water and flowers on the floor. People stop by on their way to the temple to pick up something for the deity. We also do stuff for weddings and parties, so sometimes we are out of the shop putting up decorations. It is hard work on your hands and feet all day. Sometimes we get thorns in our fingers but that is just part of the job. The ground is usually wet from the water we spray on the petals. We like the busy atmosphere of the road. It feels like we are right in the middle of everything. We have some regular customers who have been coming to us for years. We just keep doing what we do every day. There is always a lot of color here because of the petals and leaves we use.
